Every year, Father's Day is on Sunday, June 21. It might seem like the holiday is all about delicious meals and amazing gifts, but there is more to it than that. Even though the way we celebrate our dads has changed over the years (we now have a lot more gift options and are getting more creative), the reason we do it is still the same.To honour the man who gave up a lot of his hopes and dreams so that he could provide for his family."The quality of a father can be seen in the goals, aspirations, and dreams he sets for himself and for his family," says a well-known quote. It's important and meaningful to take time to praise the man who raised you. It wasn't always common to have a day to honour dads. Father's Day has a long and interesting history. It took a long time and a lot of unexpected bumps along the way to make it an official holiday.
